Schwans and tru Shrimp Company to work together in Minnesota

When businesses merge or create deals, they can help stimulate the economy and create jobs for others in an area. That may be happening in this case when these two well-known companies come together in Minnesota.

The tru Shrimp Company and Schwan's Company have announced that they'll be forming a partnership between their businesses to help propel the goal of an inland shrimp production process. The partnership between the two Marshall, Minnesota, companies aims to provide natural shrimp to consumers.

The Schwan's chief executive officer (CEO) stated that the company had been watching the tru Shrimp Company and its process for inland shrimp breeding for some time. The CEO believes there is a possibility to bring this new inland shrimp to people in the state and specifically southwest Minnesota.

The CEO of Ralco, and affiliate of tru Shrimp Company, stated that both companies have similar missions and values that make them a good fit for working together. They are both eager to collaborate and work within the market. Together, they hope to bring their product to the state as well as nationally and internationally.

One manufacturing plant in Marshall that is currently owned by Schwan's will be converted into the first shrimp-processing facility for the companies. The location will be for the processing and packaging of shrimp, while the tru Shrimp Company continues to search for a suitable location for a shrimp hatchery in Marshall.

If you have a business and think forming a partnership or merging with another business is a good idea, your attorney can help you understand the risks and benefits.
